Consumer rights


If you are contracting as a consumer, you may cancel a Contract at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products. You may also cancel a Contract before We have dispatched Products by informing Us in writing or by emailing sales@fancydress-to-impress.com. In these circumstances, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products or an exchange credit in accordance with Our refunds policy.

To cancel a Contract, you must inform Us in writing or by emailing sales@fancydress-to-impress.com. You must also return the Product(s) to Us immediately, in the same condition in which you received them including all original packaging, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, We may have a right of action against you for compensation.

If you are sent incorrect Products by Us, you must provide Us with written or emailed notice of Our error within 1 day of receipt and return the Products to Us within 7 days. On doing so, you will receive a full refund of the price paid.

This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

Our refunds policy

 

When you return a Product to Us :


(a) because you have canceled the Contract between Us within the seven-day cooling-off period, We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case, We will refund the total order, Excluding outbound delivery charges..

(b) However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to Us , a 20% product restocking fee will be deducted..

(c) for any other reason (for instance, because you do not agree to Our policies, or because you claim that the Product is defective), We will examine the returned Product and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day We confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund for the defective Product. Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you and the cost incurred by you in returning the item to Us. Products returned by you because of a defect are not refundable where they have been used by you.

(d) In the alternative to providing you with a refund in respect of Products you return to Us We reserve the right to provide you with an exchange credit.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Returns Policy for Fancydress-to-impress.com

Returns for damaged / incorrect items (our fault)

  • if you simply would like a refund, fancydress-to-impress.com will credit you back for the value of the goods we charged you, plus the value of the outbound postage and the value of the inbound postage for the consumer to return it to us (up to the value of a 1st Class Stamp).in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations act (2000).
  • If you wish for the item to be replaced we will send this out to you entirely free of any charge to you.

Returns for non-damaged /correctly sent goods (not our fault)

  • if you simply want to return the products within their rights as per the Distance selling regulations act (2000), we will credit your account for the value of the goods, but we will keep the shipping charge and apply a returns-handling charge of £5.00. You must inform us in writing no later than 7 days from receipt in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations (2000).
